What is the difference between ShadowProtect IT Edition and the other editions of ShadowProtect?
While ShadowProtect® Desktop and ShadowProtect Server install on a single machine and run regularly scheduled backups, ShadowProtect IT Edition does not install any software. Instead, it runs directly from the CD, allowing the user to create instant, on-the-fly backup images of any system at any time. ShadowProtect IT Edition is licensed to a technician as a weekly, monthly, or annual subscription and allows the technician to back up and restore any number of machines to new or existing hardware. ShadowProtect Desktop and ShadowProtect Server, on the other hand, are licensed to protect a particular machine, and require that ShadowProtect be installed and activated on that machine before backups can be restored.
